It was a colourful site early Saturday morning, September 29th, in downtown Collingwood for the 7th Annual Collingwood Walk A Mile in Her Shoes!
Walk A Mile in Her Shoes helps to educate us all about violence in women’s lives and raise money for My Friends House.
Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is a fun way for men to take a stand against violence in women’s lives by walking in women’s shoes. Again this year, men took their best shot at wearing the red high heeled pump to walk a mile up and down Hurontario Street in Downtown Collingwood.
Men were walking for their Grandmothers, Mothers, Partners, Sisters, Aunts, Daughters, Neighbours and Friends.
The event also raises funds for My Friends House as each participant is required to fundraise a minimum of $100.00.
The fundraising goal for 2018 has been set at $15,000.
