The exterior of Town Hall is being cleaned with baking soda
The exterior of Collingwood's Municipal Building is undergoing an extensive cleaning. work crews have been blasting the exterior with water and baking soda. If you have been downtown recently, you would have noticed a portion of the exterior walls appeared to be covered in a white coating. This is a part of the cleaning process, says Collingwood Mayor Chris Carrier. The cleaning will be completed within a week, and is being carried out by Extreme Clean Mobile Power Wash of Meaford.

The cleaning process includes the application of baking soda, clearly visible along the southern wall of the Municipal Building.
