It has been an unseasonably cool spring and summer, but the strange summer weather brought with it gusty winds that provided perfect conditions for wind and kite surfers to take advantage of on a blustery summer's day at Sunset Point. This scene is usually reserved for September and October, but Mother Nature dished up the perfect ingredients for a day on the water for these daring outdoor enthusiasts. While it was a bit cold for swimming, visitors to the park enjoyed the show from the shoreline.
