Erin McCallum & Roadtrip

The local band has been nominated for 'Best Blues' at the 8th Annual Independent Music Awards.
Band members are Erin McCallum, Brian Harrison, Ron Lombard and Joe Pace.

A popular local band is receiving recognition as one of Canada's finest. Erin McCallum & Roadtrip has been nominated for 'Best Blues' at the 8th Annual Independent Music Awards in Toronto. The awards ceremony will be held at the Phoenix Nightclub in Toronto on November 15th.

The band is one of just five independant bands to be nominated in this category. The musicians making up the band are Erin McCallum (vocalist, songwriter, keyboard) of Alliston, Brian Harrison (guitar, songwriter, backing vocals) of Mansfield, Ronald Lombard (base) of Collingwood and Joe Pace (drums) also from Collingwood and now living in Barrie.

The band's new single 'Everyday' from its '5a.m. Blues' release will be featured on a compliation album to be released by the Independant Music Awards. The compliation will be released to selected markets throughout Canada, the United States and Europe, giving the local band tremendous exposure on the international stage.


Erin McCallum & Roadtrip performed in Downtown Collingwood throughout the summer, including a weekend performance as a part of Canada Day celebrations.
