Collingwood Downtown merchants rolled out the red carpet to say "thank you" for visiting their stores and spending time downtown. Throughout Friday and Saturday, June 26th and 27th, downtown businesses featured special sales, giveaways, product demonstrations and sampling, lucky draws and entertainment. The summer patios were open for everyone to enjoy on two of be best summer days that we have experienced this year. In these tough economic times, Collingwood's unique downtown continues to be a popular attraction for out-of-towners and local residents. This special two-day celebration was a way for the merchants to say thank you to the customers for their ongoing support.
Elephant Thoughts was on hand, and brought some interesting guests with them at the interactive childrens centre in front of the Federal building.
You could even have a refreshing glass of frog juice in Downtown Collingwood!
