| The 2nd annual Peak to Shore Music and Art Festival was a highlight of the summer festival season, held from August 20th to 22nd. The festival featured outstanding performances by Canada's finest independent recording artists, including Juno Award Winner Serena Ryder, Saturday evening in the Village at Blue Mountain. Recently designated as one of the 2010 Top 100 Ontario Festivals, Peak to Shore featured music performances along with a 60 exhibitor art show and art demonstrations at 15 venues throughout Downtown Collingwood, Thornbury, Clarksburg and the Village at Blue. The Downtown Collingwood streets were filled with musicians and artists throughout the weekend. On Saturday morning, the Collingwood Downtown Farmers' Market joined the festival, sharing the Pine Street parking lot with artists, demonstrations and music. |
