for May "Two Four!"
The May 24th Long Holiday Weekend arrived with summer-like temperatures to
kick off the summer season
Collingwood's Sunset Point Park was a popular place to cool off in the sun and heat.

The May 24th long weekend is often referred to as the "unofficial kick-off to summer," and this year, the holiday brought with it summer-like temperatures in the high 20's. This is the second time this year that the Collingwood region has enjoyed an early hot spell. Temperatures hit 30 degrees over the Easter long weekend much to the delight of spring skiiers. The cool water temperatures didn't stop people from swimming, boating and sailing as they enjoyed the Victoria Day weekend.

Collingwood's Sunset Point Park was alive with activity thanks to the summer-like temperatures throughout the holiday weekend.
