Collingwood Citizens Help To Raise Funds
To Find A Cure For Multiple Sclerosis

The local Collingwood Super Cities WALK raised $90,000 as local citizens did their part in raising much needed funds to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. The Super Cities WALK is the MS Society’s largest event fundraiser involving over 70,000 participants and volunteers in more than 160 communities across Canada. The WALK began in 1991 and is now one of the most important events for the MS Society to raise funds and to increase public awareness of the need to continue research. In 2007, The WALK raised over $13.2 million in Canada. Proceeds have gone to fund research in the search for a cure and vital services for people currently living with MS.

"There is a cure ... we just need to find it"
