WELCOME To The New Collingwood Public Library |

Beautiful New Downtown Library Opened The official grand opening will take place in May, but very quietly, the new Collingwood Public Library opened its doors on the morning of Tuesday, April 6th. The three storey building features floors one and two as the town's new library, with the third floor to house additional municipal offices. Outside touch-up work remains to be done but inside, the new library is bright, clean, ultra-modern and very welcoming. There are lots of places to sit and read, you'll discover many computers to access, art displays, stained glass windows and a large children's area. The third floor public meeting room not only offers a comfortable, state-of-the-art setting, but provides some outstanding views of Collingwood through the large windows. The view from the green roof of Collingwood, Nottawasa Bay, the escarpment and everything in-between might just take your breath away. PHOTOS FROM OPENING DAY AT THE NEW LIBRARY |
