Collus Executive Director Accepts New Position
Following 5 Years As OMWA Board Member

The Ontario Municipal Water Association has named Collus President Ed Houghton as President. The OMWA's mission is to act as the voice of Ontario's public water supply authorities and their customers on policy, legislative and regulatory issues related to the provision of safe and reliable public water supply in Ontario.

The OMWA is a unique organization in that its focus is upon the management and administration of public drinking water and our membership is made up of public water supply authorities. Of course, Collingwood is well-known as a community that can boast having the safest drinking water on the planet.

Houghton accepted the appointment while attending the recent Ontario Municipal Water Association conference in Windsor.
