Habitat for Humanity
 
Groundbreaking for Habitat for Humanity at Fifth and High Streets in Collingwood.
Volunteers are Gary Reid, Fred Sproule, officer from Training Base Meaford, Mayor Sandra Cooper,
Gerry Gillespie, Deputy Mayor Rick Lloyd.
 
Mayor Sandra Cooper was on hand with Habitat for Humanity Chairman Gerry Deleski and Collingwood Deputy Mayor Rick Lloyd to help break ground for the construction of a new Habitat for Humanity home building project in Collingwood. The groundbreaking at Fifth and High Streets begins the first project of its kind in almost seven years in Collingwood.

Habitat for Humanity South Georgian Bay works with potential homeowners, business people and volunteers to construct affordable housing throughout the region. Construction on the new Collingwood home will begin this summer.
