Union Station Event


Collingwood Elvis Festival Representatives and Festival Title Sponsor Sirius Satellite Radio Representatives visited with Union Station commuters on Friday June 15th as a part of the Ministry of Tourism's "Union Station Event."

Elvis Sightings In Toronto's Union Station

People were talking about "Elvis Sightings" at offices throughout Downtown Toronto on Friday June 15th. Representatives of the 2007 Collingwood Elvis Festival spent the day at Toronto's Union Station as a part of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism's "Union Station Event." Representatives from Sirius Satellite Radio (the Title Sponsor of the 2007 Collingwood Elvis Festival) were also in attendance. Downtown Collingwood BIA General Manager Sue Nicholson said that the Union Station event presents an excellent opportunity for the Town to promote the festival on a one-on-one basis in the heart of Toronto. Along with promotiong tourism opportunities in the region and the Elvis Festival, Town of Collingwood representatives handed out information about Collingwood's Historic Downtown.

In addition, Elvis Festival representatives took time to visit with children at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children.
