The annual Easter Egg Hunt, brought to you by Downtown Collingwood, on Saturday, April 23rd, began at the Collingwood Museum with a traditional Chocolate Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn of The Station. A large group of children waited patiently for their cue to search for coloured Easter Eggs. Activities began at 9:30am with refreshments, face painting, visits with the Easter Bunny, and the egg hunt broken into various age categories beginning at 10:00am.

At approximately 11:00am, activities moved throughout the rest of the downtown. Easter Eggs were displayed throughout the district in the store windows.

An information/activity centre was set up at the Town Hall where the kids picked up their Easter Egg Hunt forms and participated in colouring activities and other fun events.

Prizes were awarded to each of the different age groups, up to age 2 years, 2 to 4 years old, 5 to 8 years old and 9 to 12 years old.
