Seasons Change

Snow flurries and gusty north winds accompanied lift-out operations in Collingwood harbour on Sunday, October 2nd. Sailboats were lifted out of the harbour to be secured in their winter resting places.

The Collingwood Yacht Club was buzzing with activity as boat owners prepared to have their vessels lifted out of the harbour. The club offers members a combination of well protected moorings for boats up to 30 feet plus limited space for boats up to 40 feet, fresh water and electricity at the docks and many social and special events throughout the season.

It's lonely at the top! One yacht club member braved the gusty winds as he prepared his boat for the season's end.
