Art in the Parking Lot is a popular Summertime Downtown Collingwood event. Artists from around the region gathered at the corner of Pine and Second Streets on the long holiday weekend, including Terese Connolly (above) and Leslie Worts (below)

The Civic Holiday Weekend in Collingwood's Downtown was a busy one, as the annual Art in the Parking Lot drew large crowds on Saturday and Sunday August 4th and 5th. Artists from throughout the region gathered in the parking lot at the corner of Pine and Second streets to display their work. Some artists turned a blank canvass into a new work of art (below) while people watched. The Art in the Parking Lot event was held in conjunction with the popular Downtown Collingwood Farmers' Market, allowing visitors to not only view an extensive art show, but to browse through local produce, crafts and clothing as well.
