Prime Seven Nine and Loft Gallery Team Up To Help CGMHF

The owners of newly opened Prime Seven Nine Upper Kitchen & Bar in downtown Collingwood decided even before they opened the doors of their new eatery on Hurontario Street that they wanted to support their Hospital.

The old bank building in which the restaurant is located has soaring ceilings and lovely block walls, just the place to exhibit massive, eye-catching pieces of original art.

Taking advantage of their location, owners Peggy Vomvolakis and Tony Morew partnered up with Heather Carroll owner of Thornbury’s Loft Gallery to display original paintings by resident artist Debra Carroll. The group agreed that all commissions generated by the sale of the paintings would be donated to Collingwood G&M Hospital Foundation.

It didn’t take long for the first two pieces to sell and last week, CGMHF was the grateful recipient of a $1,440 donation.

“This will be an ongoing way to support our hospital,” says Peggy Vomvolakis. “We are pleased to partner with Loft Gallery to support such an important cause.”

The Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation thanks Prime Seven Nine, Loft Gallery and artist Debra Carroll for their generous support.
