Simcoe Holy Trinity Captures Gold at OFSAA Boys Hockey Tournament in Collingwood
The host team, the Collingwood Jean Vanier Storm, captured Bronze with a 2-1 win over Leaside at the downtown Collingwood Eddie Bush Memorial Arena on Friday March 23rd. Gold was captured by Holy Trinity with an impressive 7-3 win over King City. King City was awarded Silver.

Collingwood Mayor Sandra Cooper dropped the puck at the opening of the Jean Vanier Storm Game at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena
Collingwood hosted exciting OFSAA Boys Hockey at both the downtown Eddie Bush Memorial Arena and Central Park Arena from March 19th to 23rd. Games were also be played in Stayner and Thornbury as teams from all over the province compete.
Collingwood’s Jean Vanier C.H.S. is the home town favourite, with out-of-town teams from Toronto, Madoc, Simcoe, Renfrew, Bracebridge, Hamilton, Burlington, Whitby, Ottawa, Hearst, Ottawa, Sioux Lookout, Mississauga, St. Catharines, Belle River, Petrolia, Woodstock and King City competing.
Jean Vanier won the GBSSA championship in 2016-2017 and again this year.
