Collingwood has a new summer festival to be proud of. Wordstock was held on Friday and Saturday, September 10th and 11th throughout the downtown heritge district. Events were free of charge which made this new festival very attractive for those looking for quality family entertainment. The Friday evening show at the Gayety Theatre kicked off Wordstock 2010 by bringing together the history, culture and genres of literary arts in Collingwood. Saturday events included author readings, poetry, workshops, children's and teen events and many opportunities to meet and talk to the authors at book signings.
