Money Raised Will Help Our Wounded Soldiers

Hundreds of bikers thundered into Collingwood just after noon on Sunday, July 31st. Riders were participating in the 4th annual Riders with a Message, an event that has raised thousands of dollars to help Wounded Warriors, an organization that extends help to Canadian soldiers and their families.
Riders with a Message began an hour-and-a-half ride that began in Collingwood and continued through the Beaver Valley and back to Collingwood along County Road 124 en route to the Pine Street Parking lot. Collingwood Mayor Sandra Cooper was on hand to see the riders off from Mountain Road, and to greet them again upon their arrival at the Pine Street venue. The Pine Street venue featured a barbecue, silent auction, vendors, military demonstrations, a fashion show and music provided by the Shane Cloutier Band.
