Art submissions will be through the individual young artists’ parents rather than through the schools. This change opens the show up to all children who wish to participate.
Drop off of the artists work is at the Library Saturday Feburary 26, 10 AM to 3 PM and Sunday Feburary 27 from 1 PM to 3 PM. Pick up is on the awards night and later, art work can be picked up at the LIbrary front desk until April 15.
The "call to entry" flyers will be distributed to your school. If your school requires more, please print out from the attachment provided.
These flyers will be distributed in the Duntroon, Nottawa, Stayner and Collingwood schools. (Please see flyer for more information about the show requirements - Download flyer)
The beautiful new library will be filled with the wonderful art of local children. The young artists work will be pre-hung on foam core panels and then the panels will be hung on the Library's hanging hardware system. This means the rules of the show in terms of size must be strictly enforced to get as much art up on the walls as possible.
Awards and prizes will be presented on Saturday, March 26, 1pm to 4pm. Volunteers are most welcome to help hang the show and help with the awards ceremony.
