The Town of Collingwood hosted a job fair at the Collingwood Library on Friday April 29th and Saturday April 30th. The Economic Development Office initiative was supported by participating industries/companies representing the Health, Manufacturing, Knowledge Based, Resource and Digital Media Sectors. The two day event was not only of interest to local residents, but attracted visitors from the Toronto region and from towns and cities throughout south/central Ontario. Economic Development Officer Catherine Durrant said that she was pleased with the attendance numbers. "The job fair went very well and was very well attended. The participating companies commented on the positive interest and quality applications from attendees. |
