| The Directors of the Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame are pleased to announce the bi-annual COLLINGWOOD SPORTS HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONIES will take place this Fall. In April 2010, the committee`s Request for Nomination generated substantial public interest and submissions. Upon careful consideration and recommendation by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, the Directorship has announced three (3) new members and (1) team representing the athletic spectrum will be celebrated during the fall ceremony. Tom Colley Athlete – Hockey Chris Stoutenburg Athlete – Wheelchair Basketball Two (2) Gold & One (1) Silver Olympic Medals (2000 & 2004) One (1) Gold & One (1) Bronze – World Championships (2006 & 2007) Earl Wilson Athlete – Arm Wrestling Medals - Eleven (11) Gold; Three (3) Silver; Two (2) Bronze - World Championships 1996-2009) - Eleven (11) Provincial Titles – 1995-2009 Championships 2008 CCI Senior Football Team - Football GBSSA Senior Football Championship - 2008 This event marks the 34th year since the Hall’s inception when its founder Scotty Carmichael introduced the inaugural members that have grown to number 134 sporting personalities. Tickets for this evening are $37.50 per person and will be available for sale in August. Ticket sales revenue help support the continued operations of the Hall of Fame Room and website.
