The Collingwood General and Marine Hospital has appointed Steve Soychak to the position of Vice President Corporate Services, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Soychak was most recently the Vice President Corporate Services for Interlake Regional Health Authority in Manitoba, where he was responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to Finance, Information Technology, Support Services and health Information Systems Departments serving 7 hospitals, 11 personal care homes, 10 emergency medical stations, Public Health, Home Care and other health programs.

"Steve is a strong results-oriented professional with proven success in areas of finance, service delivery, communications, information systems and project management. We are fortunate to have found someone of Steve's caliber to join our Hospital and our active and growing community" said Linda Davis, President and CEO of Collingwood's General and Marine Hospital.
