Collingwood's Central Park played host to the 5th annual Finn Classic Slo-Pitch tournament June 6th, 7th and 8th. This year's tournament featured a men's division, competitive co-ed division and men's recreational division.

The annual Fin Classic Slo-Pitch tournament raised $15,000.00 for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2007. The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was established in 1960 by a group of concerned parents who wanted to work to develop research into the disease rather than accept that their children, diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, would not live long enough to start kindergarten. At the time, a CF diagnosis was an automatic death sentence.

The mandate of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to help individuals with cystic fibrosis principally by funding CF research, and by supporting high quality clinical and transplant care, with a goal to ensure that every dollar raised works for all persons with CF in Canada, without regard to province or community of residence.
