As The World Retreats From Big Cities And Commuter Compromise, Collingwood's Population Increases
Collingwood’s population continues to grow. Recent numbers released by Collingwood’s Economic Development Department state that the town’s population is made up of 18,500 permanent and 3,000 seasonal residents. These numbers will grow quickly as many new subdivisions, presently under construction, welcome new residents to the town.
Collingwood’s employment sectors are served by a strong, dedicated labour force, helping to contribute to the town’s low unemployment rate.
