Living On A Bus For Three Days
104.1 The Dock Radio Personalities Are
Gathering Food For Those In Need At Christmas

104.1 The Dock - Greatest Food Drive of All Time
Meg, Wix, Josh and Roop from 104.1 The Dock broadcast live to collect food donations

Donations Delivered To The Collingwood Salvation Army

Four radio personalities, a big bus and one blinding snow storm ... a perfect combination to launch a regional food drive designed to collect food for those in need this Holiday Season.

104.1 The Dock launched it's "Greatest Food Drive of All Time" on Tuesday, December 7th. For three days, these four co-workers will eat, sleep and broadcast live from a bus as it tours towns and cities throughout Simcoe County.

The crew arrived in Collingwood late Tuesday morning and was immediately met with listeners who were waiting in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn to make their non-perishable food item donations. Tara Parsons, Sales Manager from The Shipyards was one of the first Dock listeners to donate. Tara welcomed the broadcast team to Collingwood and reminded everyone that the ongoing winter blast that has been pounding Collingwood since Sunday, December 5th, was in fact, a good thing, because ski conditions would be terrific when Blue Mountain opens for the season on Friday, December 10th.

Donations received in Collingwood were taken to the Salvation Army Food Bank. Congratulations to 104.1 The Dock for donating their time and efforts for such a worthy cause for the region.

For more information, visit the 104.1 The Dock web site.
