"This has been an arduous process but we're very happy to be breaking ground today"
-- Developer Steve Assaff

Developer Steve Assaff a longstanding history as a successful downtown property owner, having constructed the Arlington Shops and Sheffer Court office buildings. Assaff firmly believes that “a quality residence at the centre of Collingwood’s downtown is a great benefit to the growth and maturity of the town itself, and an important place to call home for residents who have continued to support the value of living in the heart of the town”.

"The 400 businesses of downtown Collingwood have been eagerly awaiting the news that Admiral Collingwood Place is now underway." said Jeffery Shearer, head of the Downtown Collingwood Business Improvement Association. "The commercial impact of the two major developments on the north and south of Hurontario Street will benefit Collingwood immensely. People who live downtown don’t have to drive downtown. The resulting low environmental effect and increase in pedestrian traffic is nothing but good news for our downtown and all of Collingwood." Shearer added.
