In addition to the music, he is an outstanding story teller.

From blues to soul and rock & roll, and of course, the music of Elvis, Memphis Jones shares the stories behind the songs that have made Memphis and the musicians famous.

He describes himself on his web site as a music lover who believes that all roads lead to Beale Street.

“You can literally fell Memphis as soon as you get close to it.”

You can certainly feel the music and feed off the energy when you see Memphis Jones and his band perform.

The Memphis Jones Trio hit the outdoor stage at Jazz at the Station in Collingwood on Wednesday July 25th, and delivered the bang-on performance the trio is famous for.

High intensity, precision, respect for the music and a love of performing … all front-and-centre in the performance that left the audience wanting more.
And luckily, we’ll get more, all weekend!
