Mayor Sandra Cooper was on hand to welcome back the Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market for its 2018 season. A few drops of rain didn’t get in the way of the enthusiasm vendors and visitors to the market had on the long weekend.
Since 2004, the market offers quality produce, food and crafts. The downtown market embraces the idea of the 100 mile market as it provides only produce from 100 miles around the market location to help visitors buy local and eat healthy.
Meet your friends at the Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning until Thanksgiving at Pine and Second Streets.
In any given weekend, the market boasts 70 vendor stalls along with many special events including children’s activities, musicians and demonstrations of all kinds.
