Tim E. Hendry – Winner – Professional Competition
Tim E. Hendry will represent the Collingwood Elvis Festival in Memphis during Elvis Week.

Tim E. Hendry was named the 2018 Collingwood representative for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest, to be held in Memphis during Elvis Week, August 9-18, 2018. Hendry is from London Ontario, as took top honours at the Grand Finals competition late Sunday afternoon.
The 24th Collingwood Elvis Festival attracted large crowds despite the threat of showers throughout the weekend. The festival was first held in 1995. Fast forward to 2018, and it is still known around the world as the largest and best Elvis Festival anywhere! This year, 60 Elvis Tribute Artists took part in the three day festival.
The Memphis Jones Trio kicked off the live music on the Downtown Collingwood Stage at 12 noon on Friday July 27th.
The 2018 theme is “Elvis United” in celebration of Collingwood’s 24th annual event.
Some familiar faces were back in Collingwood again this year.
Memphis Jones returned his fifth consecutive Collingwood Elvis Festival. At home, Memphis Jones can be seen live in concert most weeks at BB King’s Blues Club in Memphis, Tennessee.
The 2017 Early Years Grand Champion Brycen Katolinsky from Canada is back along with Ultimate Champion Dean Z, from the United States.
Former Grand Champion Robin Kelly from Edmonton, Alberta was seen walking the downtown streets.
Gordon Hendricks from the United Kingdom was back in Collingwood. Hendricks was the Concert Years Grand Champion and the 2017 Ultimate Champion after winning the prestigious contest in Memphis, TN, as the Collingwood Elvis Festival’s representative.
Robbie Lane from the 60’s and 70’s Canadian Rock Band Robbie Lane and the Disciples was the MC on the main street stage on Saturday afternoon. Robbie is a Canadian music icon and was front-and-centre in the incredible Toronto music scene in the 1960’s. Robbie Lane can be heard weeknights from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Zoomer Radio (AM 740) in Toronto. (The band is still performing – CLICK HERE to visit Robbie’s web site)
The weekend was all about the music of Elvis, and organizers said that despite the scattered showers, crowd numbers were up this year.!
